Enjoy a trip down memory lane with a journey on one of Britain's longest preserved railways. Meeting just outside Taunton, visit the engine sheds and museum before boarding one of the steam trains. The journey takes you through the glorious countryside of the Quantocks, with Exmoor in the distance, before running alongside the coast with views to South Wales.

Minehead is the end of the line, but with plenty of stations en-route, there are ample opportunities for visits to castles, villages and the beach.

There will be dedicated parking for CPUK members and refreshments are available throughout the trip. Tickets cost between £6 and £14 per person (a group discount may be available depending on numbers) and Tesco Clubcard vouchers can also be used.

A 'get-together' pub meal on Saturday evening can help make it a West Country weekend away. Information on accommodation can be provided.

Taunton is just off the M5 for those travelling from north and south and there are easy links to the A303 and M3 for those coming from the south-east.

Reputed to be one of the biggest and best Classic Motoring extravaganzas! In 2007 the show broke all its previous attendance records, certainly the CPUK stand was a hive of activity for the whole three days.

For 2008 we intend the CPUK stand to reflect the four Peugeot anniversaries occurring in 2008: 202 (70 years); 203 (60 years); 504 (40 years) and 205 (25 years)

Do come and join us - we would love to meet you. If you are able to assist with manning the stand for any part of the weekend, or with setting-up on the Thursday or dismantling on the Sunday, we really could do with any help you can offer. If you are interested in displaying your Peugeot on the CPUK Stand, please let us know as far in advance as you can. It doesn't need to be concours - just obviously cherished!
