106 XL Auto 1997

“Bertie” is our fabulous big hearted 106. Two new tyres and a reconditioned started motor. Leaking rear nearside brake drum and the MOT runs out 6/3/25. No stereo but two large speakers in the parcel shelf, awful paint job as the lacquer has failed but never found any rust. Bertie has been really good, our “go to” car, given us everything we needed (an easy final car for my 91yr old Mum and a great first car for both my kids). Time to move on to a manual before the driving test. Driver’s door has been bent but works fine. Central locking, manual windows, retro fitted parking sensors. Towbar. 2 keys. Great source of spares or a solid basis for a rebuild. Will deliver for a prepaid agreed delivery charge. Will be going to scrap 6/3/25, though deserves better.
