Pugs in the Peaks Weekend - Based at The Lee Wood Hotel, Buxton, Derbyshire SK17 6TQ - Friday 5th August - Sunday7th August
The main driving activity will take place on Saturday 6th August, but you might like to arrive on the Friday in time to join the 4pm tour of Poole’s Cavern.
We have rooms provisionally reserved for members and guests at the Lee Wood Hotel costing £67 per person per night for B&B (£55 room only) based on two sharing (single occupancy supplement of £30 applies).
On Saturday, we’ll enjoy a driving tour, following a Tulip Road Book, starting at Marple (16 miles from Buxton) at 10.30am and winding our way through the Peak District back to Buxton, with a half-way coffee halt!
A group dinner will be arranged on Saturday evening in The Lee Wood Hotel and on Sunday morning, members can opt to join the Churnet Valley Railway Breakfast Train for a leisurely, breakfast aboard a steam-hauled special.
The itinerary is flexible enough to give you the option to pick & choose whichever activities you’d like to join!
You will, however, need to make your own bookings for the Cavern tour, the Breakfast Train and, most importantly, the Hotel (rooms are held for us until 30th June),
