Hundreds of classic vehicles gather in Beacon Park for this friendly summer weekend event. Organised by the Rotary Club of Lichfield St. Chad, charity donations on the day are appreciated. An extra bonus this year is that the Olympic torch will be travelling through the park around 9.30am on the Saturday. There is no entry form to complete or entry fee to pay and all Peugeots, young or old, are welcome on the CPUK stand. There are always many interesting stalls on site whilst the centre of Lichfield is only a short walk away making the Park an ideal starting point for local sight-seeing. Dogs on leads are welcome. Camping and caravanning on site is available upon request. Take a look at the event website: www.carsinthepark.com There will be a special CPUK Cars in the Park meal at a local hostelry on Saturday evening 30th June. For further details or to register interest, reserve a parking place or book a place at the evening meal
