Cars in the Park, Beacon Park, Lichfield, Sat 5th & Sun 6th July
More than a thousand vehicles will be on display in Beacon Park during this friendly summer weekend event. Peugeots, young and old, are welcome in the CPUK enclosure and there is no entry form to complete. Organised by the Rotary Club of Lichfield St. Chad, there is no entry fee, but charity donations on the day are appreciated. There are plenty of interesting stalls on site and Lichfield town centre is only a short walk away so the Park is an ideal starting point for sight-seeing too. Florette's Festival Market, selling a wide range of handmade crafts, foods and accessories, will be around the Cathedral on Saturday and is well worth a visit. Join us on either the Saturday or the Sunday (or both) but please note that cars must be in situ in the CPUK enclosure before 11am; otherwise owners will have to park in the public area for which there is a £5 fee. Dogs on leads are welcome in the park and camping or caravanning on site is available upon request. For further information, please see the website
