The inaugural Footman James Manchester Classic Car Show took place over the weekend of the 21st and 22nd September at Event City at the Trafford Centre. Over 7000 visitors attended the event and we had a stand with six cars displayed, A 504 V6 Cabriolet,304 Estate.205 GTI 1FM, 106 GTI,205 T16 and a 307 WRC “maquette”. Whilst we were not that busy on Saturday it picked up on Sunday and a steady stream of visitors came onto the stand including Members, John Green and Steve White.It was great to see them. We had a lot of interest in all the cars especially the 304 Estate which had it`s luggage and ski`s on the roof ready for the Alpine season! Interest in anything Group B continues to climb so with the back of the T16 open it was always going to be popular! We are certainly seeing interest in our Marque increasing and it was great to be there (if a little tiring!) to answer any queries that people had. Next year` event has been announced so I guess we will do it all again then!
